Signature Assessment

FluidDynamics™

A structured operational assessment that identifies where your business has friction, where information gets lost, and which path forward makes sense — before you commit to any Playbook.

Not a Playbook. An assessment.

FluidDynamics™ is not a deliverable — it's a diagnostic. It exists because most businesses that need operational help don't know exactly what to fix first. They know something isn't working, but the friction shows up in unexpected places.

A FluidDynamics™ assessment maps the actual operational situation: how leads arrive, how work gets done, where information lives, which tools are actually being used, and where the system breaks down. The output is a clear picture of where the turbulence is coming from — and a recommended path forward.

It is not a sales process. It is not a generic questionnaire. It is a structured, time-bounded engagement with a defined output.

What FluidDynamics™ covers.

The assessment is structured — not open-ended. Every engagement covers the same core territory, adapted to the specifics of the business.

Operational review

We walk through how the business operates end-to-end. How does a lead become a customer? How does a customer request become delivered work? What happens when the owner isn't available? Where are the manual steps that slow everything down?

  • Lead source identification and lead flow mapping
  • Customer journey documentation — inquiry to delivery
  • Key process walkthroughs
  • Handoff and delegation points

Tool and systems audit

We review the tools currently in use — what they're supposed to do, what they're actually doing, and where there are gaps or overlaps. Most businesses are either missing tools they need or paying for tools they don't use.

  • CRM and contact management review
  • Communication tools (email, messaging, phone)
  • Scheduling, quoting, and invoicing
  • Website and forms
  • Integration and data flow between tools

Friction and automation assessment

We identify the specific points where work slows down, information gets lost, or manual effort is required that shouldn't be. We also identify where automation would have the most practical impact — not where automation is technically possible, but where it would actually change how the business runs.

Written report and recommendations

The assessment closes with a written report delivered to the client. It documents what was found, identifies friction points in priority order, and makes specific recommendations for what to address. It also recommends which Laminar Playbook — if any — is the right next step.

Important: FluidDynamics™ recommendations sometimes lead to a Laminar Playbook. Sometimes they lead to something else entirely — a different provider, an internal hire, or simply prioritizing a process change over a technology change. The assessment is honest about what the business actually needs.

FluidDynamics™ is the right starting point if…

You've been in business for a while and things have gotten complicated. You're not sure whether the problem is your tools, your process, or something else.

You're using multiple tools that don't talk to each other, and you're not sure which ones to keep, which to replace, and how to connect them.

Leads are being missed or follow-ups are falling through, and you want to understand why before investing in a solution.

You want to grow but you can see that your current operational setup won't scale. Before adding people or tools, you want to understand the structure.

Too much operational knowledge is in one person's head, and the business can't run without them. You need to document and systematize before you can delegate.

You've looked at various service providers and they all want to sell you something specific. You want an honest assessment of what your business actually needs first.

Ready to see where the friction is?

A FluidDynamics™ assessment takes an honest look at how your business operates — and gives you a clear, prioritized picture of what to fix and in what order. $1,500 CAD, flat fee.
