Tool Training Playbook
A deployment isn't complete until you can operate it. The Tool Training Playbook transfers practical capability — the skills to manage your own systems without needing to call someone every time something changes.
What this Playbook is for.
The Transfer phase is the fifth and final phase of the Laminar Framework for a reason. A system that only the person who built it can operate isn't a business asset — it's a dependency. Tool Training ensures that doesn't happen.
This Playbook is typically included as the closing phase of any launch Playbook. It can also be taken as a standalone engagement for clients who've inherited systems they don't fully understand, or who want to build confidence operating tools they've been avoiding.
Tools covered.
HubSpot CRM
Understanding your pipeline, contacts, and deal stages. Managing lead intake, reviewing form submissions, updating contact records, and using the dashboard to understand what's happening in your business.
Meta Business Suite
Managing your Facebook and Instagram presence from one place. Posting, responding to messages and comments, reviewing insights, and understanding what the numbers actually mean for a small business.
Metricool
Scheduling content across platforms, reviewing performance data, and understanding how to use the planning calendar to maintain consistency without it becoming a second job.
Google Business Profile
Keeping your listing accurate — hours, services, photos. Responding to reviews. Posting updates. Understanding how local search visibility works and what signals matter.
Google Analytics
Reading traffic reports without getting overwhelmed. Understanding which pages matter, where visitors come from, and what behaviour tells you about whether the site is working.
Training is always specific to your actual setup — your HubSpot pipeline, your Google Analytics property, your Meta Business Suite. Not generic walkthroughs. Not platform demos. Your tools, configured the way we built them, operated by you.
Format.
Training is delivered live — one-on-one sessions tailored to how you learn and which tools you need to operate. Sessions are recorded when possible so you have a reference to return to. Written summaries are provided for each tool covering the actions that matter most for day-to-day operation.
Who this is for.
- Clients completing a launch Playbook who want to operate their own systems confidently
- Business owners who inherited tools from a previous setup and aren't sure how they work
- Teams that are expanding and need to onboard someone new to existing systems
- Businesses that have the tools but aren't using them — CRM sitting empty, Google Analytics never checked, social accounts inactive
Training included in every launch.
The Tool Training Playbook is the Transfer phase of both launch Playbooks. These are the natural starting points.
